It's finished! Finally...

So a month and a half after I began my remote control holder for the couch, I have finally finished it. It was only a few weeks back that my machine was actually fixed and ready to be picked up, and since then I've been so busy/exhausted from being back at school I hadn't finished it off.



Well today was the day and here is my finished product.

    Thank you, girls! =) I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I got the fabric from Ikea. It's the perfect weight for what I made. I think the fact that I was really careful to iron even seam before and after I sewed it made a huge difference.

    As per everyone else, the material is great! And yes, I'd go along with your ironing hypothesis, especially on a square project like that.
